Glioblastoma multiforme

A type of tumor that forms from glial (supportive) tissue in the brain.

It is highly malignant, grows very quickly, and has cells that look quite different from normal glial cells.

Early symptoms may include sleepiness, headache, and vomiting.

Also called a grade IV astrocytoma
