Perichondrial
To do with the perichondrium, a dense membrane composed of fibrous connective tissue that closely wraps all cartilage, except the cartilage in joints which is covered by a synovial membrane.
Peri- is a prefix borrowed from the Greek meaning 'around or about' and '-chondrial' also comes from a Greek word 'chondros' meaning 'cartilage or gristle.
