Pimecrolimus
<B>Pimecrolimus:</B> A chemical used to treat atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Pimecrolimus prevents the activation of T cells by blocking the effects of chemicals called cytokines that stimulate T-cells.
Pimecrolimus also reduces the ability of mast cells to release chemicals that promote inflammation.
