Plexus

For example, the brachial plexus is a network of nerves leading to the arm.

<B>2.</B> In general, any interwoven entity made up of elements in a structure or system.

'Plexus' comes from the Latin 'plectere' meaning 'to braid.' The word 'plexus' achieved some literary currency as the title of a book by Henry Miller (1891-1980).

'Sexus' (1949), 'Plexus' (1953), and 'Nexus' (1960) made up Miller's 'Rosy Crucifixion Trilogy.'
