Shoulder bursitis

<B>Shoulder bursitis:</B> Inflammation of one or both of the two major bursae (fluid-filled sacs) in the shoulder.

Treatment typically includes rest, ice, and medications for inflammation and pain.

Bursitis from infection is treated with antibiotics, aspiration, and possibly surgery.
