TSI

Stands for Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin.

The TSI level is abnormally high in persons with hyperthyroidism (too much thyroid hormone) due to Graves' disease.

Thyroid hormones are essential for the function of every cell in the body.

They help regulate growth and the rate of chemical reactions (metabolism) in the body
