Xerosis

Abnormal dryness of the skin (xeroderma), of the conjunctiva of the eye (xerophthalmia), or of the mucous membranes such as dry mouth (xerostomia).

The word 'xerosis' literally means 'dry condition.' It was compounded from the Greek roots 'xero-' (dry) and '-osis' (condition).
